We have asked Richard Laribij, export director of PF-Concept, for several questions.
Alexandr Kossatchev: PF-Concept has been working on the Russian market of promotional items and business gifts for more than two and a half years. What’s new has the last year offered? How has your Russian business program changed?
Richard Laribij: It’s interesting to see that the Russian market follows the European market in its footsteps. At the beginning there was little interest in Tex-tiles and Household products for instance and we now see that demand for these segments rapidly increases that has already happened on other European markets before.
A.K.: Now everybody discourses on the global financial crisis and its impact on business. Has it reflected on your labor in our country and how? What strategies had you to re-vise and what remained unchanged?
R.L.: The Global crisis unfortunately affects more and more countries and their economies. We anticipate that this is only the be-ginning and that next year will be a very difficult year to all of us. In these difficult times it is even more important to identify your close and loyal partners and work very close to anticipate on market changes and clients demand.
